Google Drive-Google Drive is a free cloud-based storage service that enables users to store and access files online. The service syncs stored documents, photos and more across all of the user's devices, including mobile devices, tablets and PCs.
Dropbox-Dropbox is a file hosting service operated by the American company Dropbox, Inc., headquartered in San Francisco, California, U.S. that offers cloud storage, file synchronization, personal cloud, and client software. Dropbox was founded in 2007 by MIT students Drew Houston and Arash Ferdowsi as a startup company, with initial funding from seed accelerator Y Combinator.
iCloud-iCloud is a cloud service developed by Apple Inc. Launched on October 12, 2011, iCloud enables users to store and sync data across devices, including Apple Mail, Apple Calendar, Apple Photos, Apple Notes, contacts, settings, backups, and files, to collaborate with other users, and track assets through Find My.[1] It is built into iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS and macOS and may additionally be accessed through a limited web interface and Windows application.
One Drive-Microsoft OneDrive (formerly SkyDrive) is a file hosting service operated by Microsoft. First launched in August 2007, it enables registered users to share and synchronize their files. OneDrive also works as the storage backend of the web version of Microsoft Office. OneDrive offers 5 GB of storage space free of charge, with 100 GB, 1 TB, and 6 TB storage options available either separately or with Microsoft 365 subscriptions.
Nextcloud-Where are your photos and documents? With Nextcloud you pick a server of your choice, at home, in a data center or at a provider. And that is where your files will be. Nextcloud runs on that server, protecting your data and giving you access from your desktop or mobile devices. Through Nextcloud you also access, sync and share your existing data on that FTP drive at school, a Dropbox or a NAS you have at home. Nextcloud is free, open source and you can get involved in making it better.
How do you transfer files:
-From computer to USB
1.Select the files that you want to copy.
2.On the toolbar click on Edit =>Copy. This copies the location to the system memory on the PC.
3.Open the drive for the USB Flash Drive. On the toolbar click on Edit => Paste. This copies the files from the PC memory to the USB Flash Drive.
-From cellphone to laptop
1.Unlock your phone.
2.With a USB cable, connect your phone to your computer.
3.On your phone, tap the "Charging this device via USB" notification.
4.Under "Use USB for," select File Transfer.
5.A file transfer window will open on your computer. Use it to drag files.
6.When you're done, eject your phone from Windows.
-From cellphone to cellphone
1.Install the app on both your devices. Make sure 'Personal Hotspot" is enabled on them.
2.Launch it on the old device, tap "+" and choose, Create Group.
3.Then, launch it on the new device, and tap "Join Group."
4.Find the Group and tap it.
5.Once the devices are connected, you can start transferring files rather quickly.
